Today I am incredibly excited to share one of my favorite workshops to teach for my persistent pain clients, with some concepts that I believe are fundamentally important to setting you up for long term success on your healing journey.
In trying to work with my own persistent pain over the years, I tried a LOT of different things — and whether it was working with a physical therapist or following a self-guided fitness program online, nothing seemed to yield the consistent and sustainable relief and improvement that I was so desperately craving. And maybe the most frustrating element of failing to find that healing was not being able to understand WHY it wasn’t working or how to help myself moving forward.
My biggest turning point came when I finally dove all the way in to understanding some of the core principles for myself behind pain physiology coupled with Corrective Exercise and human anatomy. Developing a deeper knowledge of the foundations behind these empowered me to craft my own movement routines based on my unique injury history and lifestyle. It allowed me to see why or why not a past routine had worked and whether or not ones that I saw online had a good chance of giving me what I needed.
I truly believe that that education, that deeper knowledge, is something that everyone suffering from long term pain can benefit from, even if you don’t want to craft entire routines by yourself and would prefer to have a guide like me alongside to share the experience with you. Ultimately, I think, that's what this first workshop became — the resource that I wish I had first thing in my pain journey instead of looking back on so much of it and trying to aggregate all of that knowledge.
So today we’re going to start with some of the most important building blocks in that pain education — we’re going to dive into the physiological processes around how pain is formed (both short- and long-term), how we can start to view the healing process as working on the entire self, and some of the various tools (both meditative and moving) that someone can add to their toolkit to keep going in that positive direction.
I truly hope this video can be a resource for you to feel like you have a little bit more knowledge and are more empowered to continue on your healing journey. While you’re taking those next steps, I don’t want you to have to feel like you’re alone in this — I know firsthand how isolating persistent pain can be. I also know how simple yet powerful it can be to share in that experience with someone else, especially with someone knowledgable about helping you get to that next level of relief you’ve been searching for.
If you have questions about the topics that are covered in the video or would like to talk more about whether corrective exercise, breathwork, and nervous system reconditioning could help you move towards your goals, please feel free to reach out via the following channels:

I’ll also be posting some additional workshops that take deeper dives into some of the breathwork practices that are covered in the video, along with a much closer look at corrective exercise and how you can put that to work for you. If you want to make sure you don’t miss those, please like this video and subscribe to the channel so we can continue on this adventure together.
I hope this workshop has helped you in some way, and if you need some more help, I look forward to having a conversation with you very soon. Until then — keep moving!
